[Description: The Chief Reader reflects on the 2016 AP Calculus exams,
looking ahead to the 2017 exam for a course emphasizing Mathematical Practices for AP Calculus.]
aims to supplement AP instruction with online modules designed for in-class, blended instruction.
Teachers can arrange for their own instance of these courses
(so that they can see results of student assessments), or can
have students use them independently.
Two collections of Calculus topics can be found on the
AP® Calculus: Challenging Concepts from Calculus AB & Calculus BC
and AP® Calculus BC.
Each unit includes both videos and assessments.
See AP Central's
workshop/institute search page
to find the latest information on AP Institutes & Workshops.
Since its inception, the principal activities of NCAAPMT
have been composing and distributing a biannual newsletter,
and organizing a session at the annual meeting of NCCTM
focused on AP Calculus/Statistics/Computer Science.
We maintained a membership and modest dues to cover the
cost of printing and mailing the newsletter.
In 2014 we discontinued the printed newsletter,
but continue a web-presence for the organization
with the goal that our website can become a means
for disseminating resources and news of particular interest
to AP mathematics teachers in North Carolina (and more broadly).
As such, we no longer collect dues nor maintain an active membership list.
Share your ideas, resources, links, ... .
